Founder's Favorites
Welcome to Founder’s Favorites — a handpicked collection of shirts I personally love, wear, and swear by. Whether it’s the message, the mascot, or just the way it makes me feel on a flare day, these are the tees I reach for on repeat.
Every shirt here speaks to the realness of chronic illness with a side of sass — because if we’ve gotta deal with all this, we might as well do it in something comfortable, clever, and a little bit cathartic.

The One That Launched a Brand
This is the one that kicked off the brand — the spark that fired in the middle of a sleepless night thanks to good ol’ chronic illness insomnia. It was the first idea I sketched out, and somehow it still feels like home.
It features the Sleepy Sloth mascot and represents the softer side of me and the brand — the one that craves calm when everything feels too loud.
It’s the shirt I reach for on the worst flare days, when I need comfort, not commentary. It balances out the snarkier stuff. And honestly? That balance is the whole point.

The One I Wear the Most
This is the one you’ll find me in more than any other — honestly, I should probably own three. It sums up life with Long COVID and POTS so perfectly, I wear it whenever I do leave the house… mostly because it speaks for me, so I don’t have to.

The One That's a Guilty Pleasure
We all have our guilty pleasures — mine just happens to be reality TV. This design was inspired by my favorite summer binge, Love Island, where “I got a text!” means drama is about to drop.
In chronic illness life? A text that says “labs are normal” is about as close as you'll get to a bombshell entering the villa. It still makes me smile every time I wear it — and sometimes that’s the only goal.

The One That Reminds Me I'm Not Alone
The university theme was there from the beginning — you can’t have mascots without a university system, right?
The Long COVID University shirts remind me I’m part of a larger community. I’m not alone in the fight. I’ve found connection in online spaces, and part of the mission behind this brand is to bring all those communities — across different illnesses — together in one place. This shirt is a reminder of that bigger picture.

The One I Relate to the Most
Like many Long Haulers and POTsies, a lot of my worst symptoms come from a nervous system that’s stuck in fight-or-flight mode.
The internal vibrations, anxiety, and insomnia? I could definitely do without. But this shirt helps me laugh at the chaos — even when my body’s in full freak-out mode — and reminds me there’s still plenty to be grateful for.

The One That Speaks to My Aesthetic
As a child of the ’60s who came of age during disco, Watergate, the oil crisis, and The Partridge Family, I’ve never stopped loving a good retro vibe.
That throwback aesthetic — along with the collegiate/varsity feel — is baked into this brand. It’s nostalgic, bold, and a little bit rebellious… just like the generation that raised me.

The One That Reflects My Snarky Side
I’m only human. Living with a complex, misunderstood illness means dealing with clueless comments, eye-roll-worthy advice, and a general lack of awareness — and sometimes, it just wears on me.
This tee lets me say what I’m thinking without actually saying it… which, honestly, saves everyone a lot of trouble.
