Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is stop. This premium organic cotton tee is a bold yet gentle reminder that rest isn’t laziness, failure, or giving up – it’s part of healing. Designed for the chronic illness community (and anyone who needs the reminder), it celebrates pacing, listening to your body, and knowing that productivity isn’t the only measure of worth. Wear it as self-advocacy, solidarity, or just because you deserve to feel comfortable and seen.
This shirt is part of The Good Shirt Series – my premium line of sustainable tees that give back. Made from 100% organic cotton, it’s soft enough for flare days, durable enough for advocacy events, and ethically produced so you can feel good about your wardrobe and your impact.
I donate $1 from every shirt sold in The Good Shirt Series to a nonprofit supporting chronic illness communities. Donations are made semi-annually, and I’ll share full receipts and totals in blog posts – because transparency matters (especially when nothing else in your medical file does).
This high-quality organic cotton tee is made from 100% organic ring-spun cotton – soft, breathable, and perfect for flare days or just existing in a world that doesn’t understand pacing. It’s certified sustainable, ethically made, and likely to become your new favorite shirt (assuming laundry doesn’t become your next boss battle).
• 100% organic ring-spun cotton
• Fabric weight: 5.3 oz./yd² (180 g/m²)
• Single jersey
• Regular fit
• Set-in sleeves
• 1×1 rib at collar
• Wide double-needle topstitch on the sleeves and bottom hems
• Self-fabric neck tape (inside, back of the neck)
• The fabric of this product is certified under GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), OCS (Organic Content Standard), OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and is PETA-Approved Vegan
• Sourced from a trusted manufacturer in Bangladesh
Sizing + Tag Notes:
These shirts follow EU sizing, which runs a bit smaller than standard US sizing – I recommend going one size up for the best fit. Also, just so you know, there’s a small manufacturer’s tag sewn into the side seam. It’s required for legal reasons, and while it doesn’t mess with the design itself, it is visible – so if tags bug you, just be aware.
